A BIM-IFC Technical Solution for 3D Crowdsourced Cadastral Surveys Based on LADM

In most countries, three-dimensional (3D) property units are registered utilizing two-dimensional (2D) documentation and textual description. This approach has several limitations as it is unable to represent the actual extent of complicated 3D in space. As traditional procedures often lead increased costs long delays 2D cadastral surveying, a fast, cost-effective, reliable solution needed cope with remaining global surveying needs. Crowdsourcing claimed critical role methodology huge potential regarding realization registration both an affordable timely manner. Many large modern constructions now planned constructed based on BIM technology all over world. The utilization digital models, such building information models (BIMs), establishment connection international standard Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) could be for rapid integration these into crowdsourced cadaster better representation boundaries units, detailed visualization complex infrastructures, enhancement interoperability between different parties organizations. this paper, linkage BIM, LADM, crowdsourcing techniques investigated order provide effective technical new surveys. proposed framework tested block Athens, Greece. potential, perspectives, reliability implementation assessed discussed.
